Smokee-O: I’ve always been passionate about merging soul with modern hip-hop. The inspiration comes from wanting to keep the legacy of artists like Smokey Robinson and Otis Redding alive while giving it a fresh, contemporary twist. The goal is to create something that resonates across generations.

Smokee-O: I worked with several talented producers, but most notably, we had in-house work from Reign Music Group. They understand my vision for blending soulful melodies with gritty hip-hop beats, and that chemistry shows in the music.
Q: Can you tell us about your label, Reign Music Group?
Smokee-O: Reign Music Group isn’t just a label; it’s a platform to nurture real talent. I wanted to build something that fosters creativity and freedom while staying true to the roots of hip-hop and soul. We’re about pushing boundaries but keeping the integrity of the art.
Q: What future projects or endeavours are you excited about?
Smokee-O: I’m currently working on expanding Reign Music Group, scouting new talent, and continuing to push the envelope musically. There’s also talk of branching out into film scores and more collaborations with artists who align with our vision.
