Late Tuesday night (May 20), Justin Bieber changed the caption on his original Instagram post of his wife Hailey Bieber’s Vogue cover to a bunch of emojis. Instead of the story he posted about telling Hailey she would “never be on the cover of vogue” during a fight, he shared this instead. Read the full text that came with it below.

The model’s big feature in the fashion magazine came out on Tuesday, May 20. To celebrate his wife, the pop star shared photos of the shoot on Instagram and proudly said that her success had made him take back something he said a long time ago. “Yo, this makes me remember the big fight Hailey and I had,” he wrote in the caption, which he has since removed. “I told hails she would never be on the cover of Vogue.”
“Yikes, I know that’s mean,” he said next. “For some reason, I felt so disrespected that I had to get back at them.” As we get older, I think we understand that getting back at someone doesn’t help… Baby, you already know this, but please forgive me for saying that you wouldn’t get a Vogue cover; I was very wrong.
There has been a lot of progress between the Biebers since the fight. In 2018, they got married. When they had their son Jack Blues in August of last year, Hailey told Vogue, “Giving birth was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.” That s–t was really crazy. It wasn’t fun. They made me bleed. I went into labor and worked hard for a few hours. Not even a painkiller.
In the piece, the pop star also raved about his marriage to the founder of Rhode. It was the best thing he had ever done. “I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life,” he told the magazine.
“She’s in the spotlight and getting all the attention because she’s so good at style, business, art, and fashion,” he said when asked why his partner gets so much hate online. “And how easy she makes it look to be a wife and mom.”
Hailey’s Vogue cover comes just two days after she and Justin went to the Stanley Cup playoffs to cheer on the Toronto Maple Leafs. They sat together and cuddled up while Justin gushed over the players. A week before, Justin surprised his wife on Mother’s Day with a fancy party complete with a dinner by candlelight and a Mariachi band.
The last album Justin put out was Justice in 2021, which went two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Fans are excited to hear new music from the star. They were lucky that Hailey told them her husband is working on something new. As she let Vogue into her house, she said, “I forgot Justin is recording, otherwise I’d say let’s get cozy,” as the sound of his singing filled the room.
