Saweetie, who is from California, has now announced her first tour of Australia. This comes as the release of her debut record draws near.
Saweetie’s four-date tour of the country, put on by Primuse Entertainment and Capital Touring, starts on July 30 in Perth and goes to Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney the next week.
Saweetie’s popularity in Australia has been shown over the years by hits like “Best Friend” (2021) and “Tap In” (2020). Both songs made it to the top 40, and “My Type” (2019) made it to the top ten of the Australian Hitseekers chart.
The Icy Queen has had a busy year with a lot of songs, including “NANi,” which was number one on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart last November. Now she has news of her first Australian tour.
They suggested that Pretty B*tch Music would be out as early as 2020, and the record was supposed to come out in 2021, but it has since been pushed back. After the single “Is It the Way” came out in September, Saweetie told fans on social media that the album will have more than ten songs, but “not all will make the cut.” He was referring to the tracks that came out to promote the album.
In her social media Q&A, she said, “I have tried new things with every release this year.” “Is It the Way” does, however, visually set the tone for the record.
